The role, Deputy Director of Academics works closely with our agency head, Dr. Charlene Williams, to spearhead the work of ODE which is linked to our governor’s top priorities.

To this role you bring significant academic leadership experience either as a superintendent of schools or as a senior leader in a large educational entity. The ability to embrace and lead organizational change, and to adroitly interface with policymakers at both the legislative and executive levels is a significant element of this work.
