Deputy Program Manager (GEOINT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Program Manager to support the management and execution of complex programs at Fort Gordon, GA. The ideal candidate will assist the Program Manager in overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with organizational goals and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in planning, organizing, and directing program activities to meet project objectives and deadlines.


• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources to ensure efficient program execution.


• Monitor program performance metrics and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.


• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize program impact.


• Support budgeting, scheduling, and contract management activities.


• Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners.


• Ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and quality standards.


• Lead problem-solving efforts and provide guidance to team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a government or defense environment.


• Strong knowledge of program management principles, tools, and methodologies.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.


• Experience with contract management and budgeting processes.


• Familiarity with DoD regulations and acquisition processes is a plus.


• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required.
