We’re working with a leading global financial information and technology provider to hire a Derivatives Manager into their Networks business. The team delivers technology-enabled risk, compliance and regulatory solutions to financial services clients, helping them manage regulatory obligations, reduce operational risk and streamline complex workflows.
This role sits at the intersection of client delivery, regulatory operations and team leadership, with responsibility for managing client engagements, improving processes, and supervising a growing team.
You’ll partner closely with clients to navigate evolving regulatory requirements, lead delivery across multiple workstreams and ensure high-quality execution across onboarding, KYC and regulatory processes. The role offers strong exposure to industry challenges, senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how technology is used to solve regulatory problems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple client requests and deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Own project scope and delivery plans, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Lead client meetings, providing clear updates on progress, milestones, risks and issues.
Maintain project trackers and prepare regular reporting on performance, delivery status and KPIs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Identify and resolve gaps in processes, controls and execution.
Partner with clients to design and implement new workflows in response to regulatory change.
Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards and internal controls.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Supervise, coach and develop team members, setting clear goals and providing ongoing feedback.
3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 - 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Exposure to the derivatives trading.
Familiarity with KYC constitutional documents including onboarding.
Ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with exceptional presentation expertise.
Understanding of financial services firms and investment management operations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on quality and process.
Must be able to work collaboratively with team members, both senior and junior.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong proficiency in Excel preferred.
Paying up to $90,000 per annum / $45.00 per hour (W2).
