Dermatology Billing Specialist

Our Dermatology Billing Specialist is responsible for working efficiently in a team environment to ensure all billing and collections are done in a timely fashion to support the financial success of the practice.
Schedule
* Hybrid (remote work a few days each week, once trained)
* Monday through Friday
What You'll Do:
* Send all claims (include proper attachments when requested) on a timely basis
* Send monthly statements sent to the patients
* Follow up with insurance companies on outstanding claims
* Post payments. Process refunds/credits
* Run reports for all billing needs
* Credentialing and licensing of Doctors as needed
* Respond to patient inquiries regarding insurance and balances
* Work with collection agency on delinquent account balances
* Work in the medical office when needed in front office capacity
Skills and Experience:
* High School Diploma preferred
* Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar position required
* Working Knowledge of dermatology terminology, procedures and diagnosis, insurance required
* EZ Derm Software experience preferred
