As a Dermatology Medical Assistant in Charlotte, you will be an integral part of our clinical team, working closely with our healthcare providers to deliver outstanding patient care. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by accurately taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
• Perform basic lab tests and manage the collection and preparation of specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to regulations and privacy standards.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage effective communication within the office.
• Educate patients regarding their treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
• May participate in supporting the clinic’s social media presence as directed, including gathering content and sharing clinic-approved updates.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient engagement.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software is a plus.
