Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for their examinations by documenting vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for further analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Schedule appointments and effectively manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare regimens.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and replenished with necessary supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience in a Medical Assistant role or in a clinical environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, specifically in dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software applications is advantageous.
