Dermatology Medical Assistant (GSL)

QualDerm Partners is seeking a motivated Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team at our Lupton Dermatology location. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and taking detailed medical histories.
• Assist the physician during procedures and examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared.
• Conduct basic lab tests, handle specimens, and prepare them for analysis.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications efficiently.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are organized, clean, and stocked with needed supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in the field of dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is an advantage.
