Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and taking comprehensive medical histories.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available and ready for use.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and properly handle specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient patient flow and communication with staff.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
• Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in a dynamic healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software applications is an advantage.
