Dermatology Medical Assistant - Raleigh, NC

QualDerm Partners is actively seeking a committed and knowledgeable Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our Raleigh, NC team. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role supporting our clinical staff in delivering outstanding patient care and maintaining efficient clinical operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and obtaining detailed medical histories.
• Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures, ensuring availability of medical tools and equipment.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and facilitate specimen collection and processing.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and foster effective communication throughout the office.
• Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and dermatological care instructions.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with patients and staff.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is a plus.
