High-Performance In-Home Sales | Middle Tennessee


Innovative Home Services is hiring an experienced in-home sales professional to sell bathroom remodeling and interior remodeling projects directly at the customer’s dining table.


This is not a project management role.
This is not an order-taking position.
This is a closer role for someone who can lead homeowners to confident decisions.

Innovative Home Services is a family-owned remodeling and restoration company serving Middle Tennessee. We specialize in bathroom remodels, interior remodeling, and emergency services.

The Role


As a Design & Remodeling Sales Consultant, you will:



  • Run in-home sales appointments with qualified leads

  • Lead the sales conversation — not follow the homeowner’s purchase plan

  • Help customers make smart decisions about design, safety, and budget

  • Build quotes and contracts using One Click Contractor (we train you)

  • Upload photos, scopes, and contracts (admin is minimal — under 1 hour/day)

  • Attend home shows and contribute 1 self-generated lead per month

  • Follow up after completion to request reviews and referrals

  • Maintain long-term customer relationships


Once a job is sold, it is handed off to production. You only re-engage for change orders or relationship follow-up.


What Success Looks Like



  • $500,000–$700,000+ in sold work within your first 6 months

  • Strong close rates and clean, detailed scopes

  • Happy customers, smooth projects, and referrals

  • Owner-level accountability for your results


Compensation (Read Carefully)


This is a commission-driven role for high performers.



  • Draw against commission (up to $1,250 per week)

  • Draw is expected to be eliminated within 6 months

  • Commissions are paid monthly after jobs are completed and collected

  • Pipeline is tracked to support your draw while projects are in progress


Earning Potential



  • Year 1: $70,000+

  • Year 2: $150,000+

  • Top performers: $200,000+ with bonuses

Schedule & Lifestyle



  • Primarily weekday appointments

  • 1 evening per week and 1 weekend per month for scheduled leads

  • Mitigation sales may include on-call rotation (currently about every 3 weeks, improving toward every 5 weeks)

  • Are organized, timely, and detailed in your paperwork

This Role Is NOT for You If:



  • You are disorganized or chronically late

  • You avoid talking about money

  • You are an order-taker instead of a closer

  • Your only sales experience is retail or cashier-level work

  • You want a safe salary instead of performance-based income

  • You have a DUI within the last 4 years (company vehicle required)

  • You are a frequent job hopper


Location


This position serves Middle Tennessee.
Candidates must live within the service area to respond to appointments and emergency opportunities.
