The Role:

We’re seeking a creative and strategic Design Director to lead our talented design team. In this role, you'll ensure top-tier creative output, guide team development, and collaborate across departments to bring brand visions to life. You’ll also help drive innovation, improve internal processes, and represent KRS in sales and industry-facing opportunities.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee creative quality, workflow, and innovation across all design projects
• Mentor and develop Senior Designers and Designers
• Lead quoting and proposals in collaboration with Account Executives
• Help shape department budgets, training programs, and hiring decisions
• Align design strategy with company goals and client ROI
• Represent KRS in prospect meetings and at industry events
• The Design Director works onsite at our corporate headquarters in Eugene, Oregon

Requirements

What You Bring:

• 7+ years in retail or environmental design, 2+ in leadership
• Strong portfolio and experience managing creative teams
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD
• Excellent communicator and collaborator
