Design Producer (Project Manager) for Packaging Company (US-based, Remote)

Our client, Paking Duck, is a growing company that helps businesses manufacture and develop packaging — from concept to production-ready execution. Their in-house design program supports clients with branding, packaging creation, and packaging improvements.

As their design program continues to expand, they are looking for a Design Producer to bridge the gap between clients and designers, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

The Role

The Design Producer acts as the key link between clients and the design team. This person will own client communication, project coordination, scheduling, and asset management — making sure every project is properly prepared before work begins and delivered efficiently.

This is a blend of Account Management and Creative Project Management, ideal for someone who understands design workflows and thrives in fast-moving environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project

• Gather and organize all required assets before project kickoff

• Translate client needs into clear and actionable design briefs

• Manage project timelines and keep deliverables on track

• Coordinate work between in-house designers and external partners

• Work alongside finance on quotes, approvals, and scope changes

• Maintain project tracking for status, ownership, and profitability

• Manage revision rounds and client feedback efficiently

• Requirements
• ✔ 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles within creative agencies, design studios, or similar environments
  ✔ Strong understanding of branding and packaging deliverables
  ✔ Excellent organizational and project management skills
  ✔ Ability to manage expectations and enforce process professionally
  ✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Nice to Have
• ➕ Packaging industry experience
  ➕ Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop deliverables
  ➕ Experience in agency production or traffic management
