Design specialist creates compelling visual solutions across print and digital media to meet client needs, using advanced design software to develop concepts, layouts, and graphics. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients and teams, ensuring brand consistency, managing projects, staying updated on trends, and sometimes providing training, with duties varying based on their specific design field, such as graphic, or learning design.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Concept Development. Focus on creating visual design content for print materials and digital platforms, including logos, brochures, websites, advertisements, marketing materials, etc.
•Develop design solutions based on clients’ creative briefs and business strategy that show strong concepts, good typography, and an understanding of the client’s problem or opportunity at hand
•Build out multiple media tactics that support the marketing effort, such as web banners, brochures, print ads, social posts, email templates, in-store signage
•Active Collaboration with Senior Designer and other team members to produce best design possible for each request and tactic
•Accurately prep files for print (CMYK)/web (RGB) release and traffic creative assets to final recipients for on-time delivery
•Attend and participate in creative brainstorms and status meetings
•Traffic and fulfill logo and graphic asset requests on an ongoing basis
•Offer creative input and feedback throughout design rounds and process
•Other job responsibilities as requested or assigned
•Designs creative value-added presentations
•Partners with analytics team to identify relevant data to be present to the sales team as it relates to revenue figures, statistical data, , and prepares written analysis and visual charts and graphs to be included in sales proposals and presentations

Stay current with the latest design trends, techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance skills and bring innovative ideas to projects.

Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), understanding of layout, typography, color, and potentially animation.

Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and project management skills.
Industry Knowledge
Familiarity with current design trends, industry standards, and a cultural sensitivity for effective communication with target audiences.
Work with internal clients to gather information and understand the requirements of their projects, managing multiple projects.

•Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with users and troubleshoot problems
•Knowledge of bank standards, infrastructure, architecture and testing methodologies
•Aptitude in enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and keeping current with emerging industry trends and new technologies

•Familiarity with web development techniques and standards.
•Specializes in user experience and user interface design to create functional and visually appealing solutions for digital products.
