Design/Drafting

We are currently seeking a full time Drafter/Designer to join our team!  Tri-Jet is a growing manufacturing firm located in Palmer with an agile workforce versed in technology-based manufacturing processes and manual craftsmanship.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design parts, signs, and artwork


• Preparing design proofs and cut file.


• Prepare fabrication drawings


• Customer service including customer needs, and meeting quality standards for services.


• Bidding jobs


• Determining appropriate materials, parts, and processes are necessary to -complete jobs cost effectively and efficiently


• Collaborating with the team to execute projects on time and on budget.


• Managing job to completion


• Reverse engineer projects


• Evaluate design concepts and make recommendations


• Order supplies and materials needed for jobs.


• 3D Printing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years proficiency utilizing design programs CAD, Fushion 360, Rhino, Onshape, Solidworks


• Experience with mechanical drawings


• Preferred experience with 3D Printing and Laser Engraving


• Strong interpersonal and communications skills


• Exceptional customer service skills.


• Self-motivated: ability to work independently


• Attention to detail and highly accurate


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize


• Ability to remain organize in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Must have organization and time management skills

Personal and Attendance Requirements

Must have reliable transportation, or arrangements to meet attendance requirements for the position.

Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.Must be able to pass a background review prior to being accepted for employment by the company.

90-day probationary period from start date. Probationary period evaluation to be completed at the end of the period.

• After probationary 90-day period, accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) will become available for vacation and sick.
