Primary Function

To develop a 3d model based on checking fixture design standards, product and GD&T

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to employee, colleagues and/or customers


• Develop customer quotes base on supplied content   


• Assist with Managing Design Leads                                                                


• Assure that tool designs get done on time and under budget                    


• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience                          


• Follow larger projects


• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Experience with UG NX12


• Knowledge of General Motors Checking Fixture Standards a plus


• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and WebEx


• Verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Ability to function with minimal supervision


• GD & T knowledge


• Understanding of fabrication, machining, time management, materials, tool assembly and inspection a plus


• High school diploma or equivalent
