Designer - ONSITE CONTRACT

Our locally recognized end client is in need of a CAD Designer for a 6-month

CONTRACT opportunity. This position requires the ability to work onsite, 40 hours per week first shift and pays a

MAX of $26.59/hr W2.

What You Will Be Doing:
Serving as the primary resource for production of design drawings for all engineering department personnel - electrical and civil design drawings (Substation and Transmission Engineering), telecommunication design drawings (Telecom Engineering), and gas distribution design drawings (Gas Engineering).
Ordering material, aiding in the development of design standards, and providing applicable technical support to field construction and maintenance crews.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Associate degree from an accredited school in engineering or design related fields and 3 years of experience as an Associate Design Technician

REQUIRED. Candidates that do not possess an associate degree must have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in the design field.
Experience using utility industry design and construction standards

HIGHLY DESIRED.
Experience using PCs, AutoCAD software, PLS-CADD (Transmission only), word processing, spreadsheet and database software

REQUIRED.
