Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a solution-focused and customer-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join our team in an onsite capacity. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technology-related issues, providing hands-on technical support and ensuring our systems, devices, and network infrastructure remain reliable and efficient.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who enjoys working directly with people and technology. You should be comfortable diagnosing technical issues, configuring equipment, maintaining IT systems, and explaining technical solutions in a clear and approachable manner.

What You'll Do

As a Desktop Support Technician, you will:

• Provide hands-on onsite technical support for employees, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and resolve hardware and software support requests.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, network, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and deploy new computers, routers, modems, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of existing IT installations.
• Provide both onsite and remote technical assistance when required.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• An Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Desktop Support Technician, IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring, installing, upgrading, and maintaining computers and related equipment.
• Familiarity with TeamViewer or other remote-support platforms.
