Desktop Support Technician - Unlimited Growth Potential

Position Details:

Role type: 12 Month contract to Hire

Location: Battle Creek, MI - Hybrid Work Schedule

Pay: $26/hr HR W2

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide executive-level support to company executives and administrative team members.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, including PC and Windows support, mobile device support, video conferencing, Microsoft Teams, and troubleshooting WiFi connectivity.
• Ensure availability for on-call support 24/7 and be prepared to travel as needed, with an average of 3 days per week onsite at various locations including Battle Creek and Chicago Land.
• Collaborate closely with executives and their assistants to address technical challenges and provide timely solutions.
• Utilize technical expertise, particularly in AV systems within the hospitality industry, to enhance executive communication and presentation capabilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service-oriented role.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
• Flexibility to prioritize work and respond to requests promptly.
• Willingness to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Proven longevity in previous roles, with a preference for candidates with a history of employment at reputable organizations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into layman's terms for executives.
• Proficiency in Office365, intranet and network-related issues, and mobile support (IOS and Android).
• Willingness to travel approximately 6 times per year.
