Detail and Reconditioning Supervisor

Kenny Kent Chevrolet is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Detail and Reconditioning Supervisor to serve as an individual contributor in our Auto industry based in Evansville, Indiana. The Detail Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction regarding the cleanliness and detailing of all vehicles.

The Detail and Reconditioning Supervisor ensures that all vehicles that exit new/used detailing shop are detailed correctly according to the applicable detail and reconditioning standards. He or she monitors and motivates wash associates to ensure they are following car detailing procedures. The Detail Supervisor will oversee the daily operation of vehicles coming in and leaving the detail/used car shop. They will generate repair orders (ROs) for new and used vehicles, prioritize/dispatch the work to 2 technicians, assist in quoting repairs, finalize repair orders, schedule detail staff on a weekly bases, assist in hiring detail staff, keep work flow efficient in the detail bays, ensure employees are constantly working, and ensure proper stock of all chemicals/tools in the department.

Responsibilities

•  Advise the dealership staff on details regarding vehicle services and work completed


• Manage a team of detailers and perform quality control checks on services


• Responsible for the timely completion of all detailing orders


• Maintain records of detailing projects and materials


• Create efficient schedules to maximize productivity


• Make sure to keep communication open between all staff members


• Monitor and restock detailing product inventory

Requirements

• Car wash experience is a plus Automotive experience is a plus 


• High school diploma or GED required


•  Experience in supervising and managing staff


•  Neat, clean, and professional appearance


• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality


• Highly professional and dependable


• dependable Excellent communication, and problem solving skills


• The ability to maintain composure under stress


•  Ability to pass Background/Drug Screening


•  Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License/Clean driving record
