Optima Dealer Services provides Staffing and Consulting Services to the most luxurious auto Dealerships.

A Detailer's role is to clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests. Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations. Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.

Key Duties:

• Wash and clean all vehicles in compliance will all Company standards and client’s request.
• Make sure all windows and sunroof are closed, automatic wipers are disabled, and if the car can run through the machine before taking it to the car wash.
• Always double-check your work after finished to make sure the vehicle is clean and move/park the vehicle to the designated area.
• Inform Management if any products, materials, or tools are needed.
• Always follow Management directions.
• Properly handle products and wash towels.
• Always follow safety procedures.
• Car detailers must know how to perform clay, polish, and wax services which requires knowledge to operate buffers, hoses, and other equipment in order to meet service expectations, using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles (compounds, polishers, waxes and sealants for example).

Requirements

• Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
•  Highly responsible, professional, and reliable.
• Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
• Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
