Detailer

JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY

The Detailer is responsible for meticulously cleaning and preparing vehicles for delivery to customers or display in the dealership, ensuring vehicles are presented in pristine condition to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership reputation. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to client locations for software updates and recall repairs. 
• Maintain company vehicles and tools, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. 
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing detailed service explanations. 
• Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards. 
• Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used. 
• Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques through training. 
• Ensure compliance with dealership standards and Federal Trade Commission regulations. 
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service bay and work areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous experience in automotive detailing or related field is preferred. 
• Knowledge of detailing techniques, equipment, and products. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
