DETOUR Principal Area Manager

Job Description - DETOUR Principal Area Manager

Company Overview:

Endologix LLC is a California-based global medical device company dedicated to improving patients’ lives through innovative therapies for the interventional treatment of vascular disease. The therapeutic portfolio addresses clinically relevant unmet needs spanning abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair and lower-limb peripheral arterial disease (PAD), and is built on precision in product design, advanced manufacturing, and comprehensive physician training — supported by industry-leading clinical evidence.

The peripheral vascular (PV) commercial model is built around three deeply aligned field roles: the Principal Area Manager (PAM), who leads regional commercial execution and serves as the recognized clinical expert in the PTAB procedure; the Therapy Development Specialist (TDS), who drives physician training and therapy adoption; and the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), who owns regional strategy and performance across the area. The PAM is the commercial and clinical anchor of this model — the role that ensures territory revenue is delivered, physicians are supported case by case, and every account experiences Endologix as a trusted clinical partner.

Job Overview:

The Principal Area Manager (PAM) leads regional commercial execution, driving adoption of Endologix’s peripheral vascular portfolio and sustainable territory growth. The PAM develops strategic account plans and partners with physicians, hospital systems, and clinical teams to improve patient outcomes.

Working alongside Therapy Development Specialists and cross-functional teams, the PAM provides field leadership, clinical expertise, and customer support to expand therapy utilization and strengthen key relationships.

This is a hands-on procedural role for proven leaders who thrive in the clinical environment, perform under pressure, and are motivated by meaningful patient impact.

Products:

  • The DETOUR™ System delivers PTAB (percutaneous transmural arterial bypass) — the first fully percutaneous bypass therapy for long, complex SFA disease. Using fluoroscopic guidance, PTAB creates a femoropopliteal bypass through the femoral vein, restoring unobstructed arterial flow.

  • DETOUR™: Combines the ENDOCROSS™ Device for artery-vein-artery access with the TORUS™ Stent Graft, designed for strength at anastomosis sites. Multicenter studies support PTAB as a safe, effective option for complex SFA lesions.

  • ALTO®: Uses Adaptive Sealing Technology to treat challenging AAA anatomies, including infrarenal necks as short as 7 mm, through a 13F ID delivery system.

  • AFX2®: Features a bifurcated unibody design with ActiveSeal® technology, preserving the native bifurcation while separating fixation from sealing. Five-year LEOPARD RCT results are published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
