THE ROLE:

• Perform full lifecycle development of software for proprietary trading.


• Design and implement high-performance User Interface (“UI”) technology stack from the ground up.


• Optimize the frontend for handling intensive real-time data streams.


• Map out greenfield development projects.


• Gather input directly from Traders and UI/UX Designers.


• Develop new software features, including improved user customization and sharing, and notifications handling.


• Remove technical debt around legacy implementations of multi-code processing.


• Increase the application scope by adding support for a wider range of datasets.


• Migrate legacy applications which control pricing and external requests onto the strategic platform.

Salary: $180,000 – $200,000 per annum.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience with JavaScript; React; TypeScript; UI development, including component and library development; experience in the financial sector; and/or, UX and UI design principles.
