Developer Experience Engineer (DevOps / DevSecOps)

We are looking for a Developer Coding Engineer (DevOps / DevSecOps) who enjoys hands-on engineering and creating practical solutions that teams can use immediately. This role focuses on turning best practices into real, scalable capabilities that support developers across the organisation.

Your mission: to improve the day-to-day developer experience by designing and building development practices, tooling, and automation that reduce complexity and increase reliability — ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and widely used.

• Hands-on experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering


• Good understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud-native development


• Experience implementing security and quality controls in pipelinesAutomation and scripting experience


• Typically 6–8+ years of relevant experience


• Experience with Developer Experience (DevEx), Developer Relations, or internal enablement initiatives


• Experience working in large, distributed organisations


• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOpsUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)


• Familiarity with code quality and security tools (e.g. SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk)


• Exposure to containers and cloud platforms (e.g. Kubernetes, Azure)


• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
