Development and Communications Director

The Development & Communications Director is a key player in the implementation of systems for operational support, fundraising, donor management, event coordination, storytelling, and marketing. Responsibilities also include providing a wide range of operational assistance to the Executive Director to increase the capacity and sustainability of the CIS model in the city of Puyallup to meet the growing needs of the community.
The site coordinator is responsible for the overall planning and management of Communities In Schools’ operations at
the site and the implementation of the Communities In Schools’ model of integrated student support. This school-based position identifies and coordinates community resources and partnerships to address the identified needs of
students needing additional support through confidential, developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive interventions, and services.
