Development Associate

Our client is a nationally recognized association seeking a Development Associate/ Volunteer Manager to create new volunteer partnerships.

Title: Volunteer Manager/Development Associate
Employment: On-going contract. Expected duration 6 months+
Pay:$24-29/hr dependent upon experience
Schedule: 9am-5pm CST. Monday-Friday
Location: Remote

Requirements:
3+ years of recruiting new volunteers and forming corporate donor partnerships
Bachelors degree highly preferred
Experience utilizing Handshake and Salesforce software highly preferred

Main Duties & Responsibilities
-Research potential volunteer connections (OT/PT/Nursing schools, Civic organizations, National Honor Society, school nurses, businesses, churches, etc.) in designated areas. Confirm with verticals before following up to make sure no double efforts. Connect with potential leads and share tool kits and encourage sharing of materials with their members. Follow up as needed to increase volunteer participation.

-Update/clean up database – May involve calling volunteers to update information and editing profiles. Work with IT to creating additional fields, running reports, etc.

Projects:
May include scripts, directions, photos, or working with Marketing/Communication to develop ‘volunteer tool kits’ for a variety of departments/verticals.

-Work with Marketing/Communications to craft helpful VP tools – Volunteer Infographics, volunteer videos.

-Assist with updating training videos – HIPPA, FTB, Retail, DE – which include crafting scripts, putting together all the pieces to create a training/video
