Position Title: Development Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Job Type/ Classification: Full Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt
Compensation: $21/hr
Position Summary: Dream Center Evansville's Development Coordinator oversees our philanthropic sustainability program, and manages, develops and renews donor partnerships towards the end of building advocates for our cause. This person will work in partnership with the Engagement team.
Principal Responsibilities:
Donor Ministry: Duties include caring for Dream Center donors, establishing lasting relationships, engaging them in life-enriching experiences, helping them discover great personal fulfillment in their giving to Dream Center Evansville, and equipping them to be advocates for our families.
Data Management: Alongside the Senior Manager of Data and Insights, maintain and manage our donor database, including constituent management, contact information updates, and report generation.
Fundraising Events:Alongside the Assistant Director of PR & Marketing, duties include assisting with the implementation and execution of Dream Center signature events.
Portfolio Management: Coordinate donor case load portfolio management for each member of the Development Department, ensuring that each member knows which donors they’re responsible for communicating and connecting with, and helping team members to contemporaneously record donor interactions.
Fundraising Planning and Execution: alongside the Development department, implement and execute annual fundraising plans to meet fundraising goals.
Communications: Alongside the Assistant Director of PR & Marketing, coordinate donor communications, newsletters and annual reports.
Job Specifications Requirements
A personal and saving relationship with Jesus Christ
Membership or a regular attender of a Bible believing church or fellowship
A proven dynamic leader who is creative, strategic, resourceful, and has organizational and planning skills
Works effectively with all people from various racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and faith backgrounds
Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills
Familiarity with Dream Center programming and/or the Jacobsville Neighborhood is strongly preferred
Conditions of Employment:
Pass a background check and hold a valid driver’s license.
Criminal background check must show no conviction of a felony or misdemeanor crime including, but not limited to abuse, drugs or alcohol, neglect, theft or fraud.
Education Requirements:
BA/BS or 2+ years of experience in a relevant field is strongly preferred
