Development Manager

Description

The Development Manager (DM) is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Sr. Development Director. The DM is a strategic thinker responsible for assisting the organization in reaching its overall fundraising goals by serving as the lead staff managing, stewarding, and cultivating a portfolio of donors including annual  donors $1,000- $25,000. The DM is responsible for management of the Champions of the House and Friends of the House giving circles. In conjunction with the Community Engagement Coordinator, the DM is responsible for corporate giving including maintaining a portfolio of corporate donor partners. 

Requirements

Passion for the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and in a team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required; experience with donor databases and fundraising software is required      (Bloomerang preferred).

5-7 years of prior experience in development/fundraising.

Reliable transportation to travel between RMHC CTX program locations as needed.
