Job Description - Development Representative

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Development Representative to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting the sales pipeline through strategic outreach and lead development.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and skilled in communication and relationship-building. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to generate qualified leads and support revenue growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

* Identify and research potential clients, industry partners, and new business opportunities.

* Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone calls, and professional networking platforms.

* Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria.

* Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and opportunities.

Relationship Development

* Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients.

* Schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.

* Serve as the first point of contact for potential customers and partners.

* Communicate company value propositions clearly and professionally.

Sales Pipeline Support

* Collaborate with the sales team to develop outreach strategies and campaigns.

* Maintain accurate records of lead interactions within CRM systems.

* Monitor lead progress and provide updates on pipeline development.

* Assist in preparing reports on outreach performance and lead conversion metrics.

Market Research

* Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities.

* Track industry trends and provide insights that support business growth strategies.

* Assist with targeted campaigns to engage specific market segments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work with marketing teams to align messaging and outreach strategies.

* Support product and customer success teams by sharing customer feedback and insights.

* Participate in regular strategy and performance review meetings.

Required Qualifications

* Must reside in the United States with a valid work authorization or work permit

* Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)

* 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, lead generation, or customer engagement

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

* Ability to work independently in a remote work environment

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in B2B sales or technology environments

* Familiarity with sales automation tools and lead generation platforms

* Background in SaaS, consulting, or professional services

* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed outreach or pipeline development goals
