As a DevOps Systems Administrator at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities crucial to the smooth functioning of our IT systems. You will be tasked with performing systems administration on server systems connected to local and wide area networks, ensuring they are operating efficiently and securely. This includes providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, as well as managing the infrastructure and processes related to these systems.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of experience
Advanced degree(s) may substitute for year(s) of experience
Four (4) years of experience may be a substitute for a Bachelor's degree
Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with Poly
Strong PaaS experience
Experience configuring and managing LINUX operating systems.
Experience investigating and resolving technical issues.
Active Security certification or other applicable certifications.
Desired Qualifications:

Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Experience using with Jira and Confluence.
Experience with DevOps pipeline and optimizing code.
Knowledge of Ruby and/or Python
Knowledge of Docker or other container tools.
Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows.
Scripting and Programming: Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, Ruby, or PowerShell. Knowledge of other programming languages like Java, C#, or Go can be beneficial.
Version Control Systems: Expertise in using Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
CI/CD Tools: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD.
Configuration Management: Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or hybrid cloud environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Skills in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana) and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk).
Networking: Understanding of basic and advanced networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing.
Security: Knowledge of security best practices and tools for securing the infrastructure and applications.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
