Job Description - Diagnostic Imaging Manager

We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment where innovation and professional growth are valued.  We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Diagnostic Imaging Manager to provide leadership of imaging services across multiple clinic locations, with a focus on obstetrical, gynecological, and breast imaging. This role combines administrative oversight with strategic development, ensuring excellence in patient care, quality standards, and operational efficiency. 

About the Role:

The Manager will work in partnership with both Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB/GYN divisions, supporting growth, innovation, and collaboration across departments. This is a full-time opportunity working on-site at our Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinic next to RiverBend Hospital in Springfield, Oregon. We offer attractive pay and a great benefits package.  

What will you do:

  • Provide clinical oversight for imaging services at multiple clinic sites.
  • Oversee and implement training programs and professional development initiatives for sonographers and technologists.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure consistent excellence in patient care and imaging outcomes.
  • Guide and manage certification and credentialing processes for imaging personnel.
  • Spearhead and maintain imaging accreditation across applicable sites.
  • Collaborate closely with MFM and Women’s Care leadership to align imaging services with broader clinical goals.
  • Evaluate and optimize workflows, equipment utilization, and imaging protocols.
  • Serve as a resource and educator to the imaging team to support a successful program with sustained growth.

Requirements

What do you need to bring to the role:

  • Experience: Five years of diagnostic imaging experience with a supervisory background required, preferably in a multi-site healthcare setting.
  • Education: Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Associate degree in radiologic technology.
  • Professional license or certification: Active license from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology required, additional specialty certifications related to OB/GYN preferred. Active license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Women’s Care was founded in 1988 and is Lane County’s oldest independent physician group specializing in women’s health.
