+ Job Summary
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Sonopartners, you will work closely with OB/GYN specialists to obtain high-quality ultrasound images, ensuring optimal care for our patients. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
+ Essential Job Functions
- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures for OB/GYN patients.
- Assist OB/GYN providers in diagnosing and monitoring conditions through accurate and clear imaging.
- Ensure a compassionate, comfortable, and safe environment for patients during ultrasound procedures.
- Document and maintain patient records in accordance with medical protocols.
- Communicate with medical staff to relay imaging results and provide insights for patient care.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
+ Education and Experience
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) required (OB/GYN).
- Experience of at least one year in OB/GYN ultrasound preferred.
- Strong understanding of ultrasound technology and medical imaging techniques to optimize images.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and adapt to patient needs.
