PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Volume/Census: 50–90 studies per day, primarily STAT ER exams

• Case Mix: Plain films, CTs, optional Ultrasound or MRI (no procedures, no fluoro, no mammography)

• Specialty Backup Available: 1–3 additional radiologists on-site daily
• Support Staff Available: Technologists and administrative personnel
• Reason for Coverage: Vacation coverage for permanent staff
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: No (standard credentialing 30–60 days)
• Credentialing Timeline: 30–60 days
• Orientation: In-person, one day (Friday before start preferred; 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Indiana license or IMLC (required)
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible (must certify within 5 years of residency)
• DEA: Not specified
• Certifications: BLS (AHA-issued)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years post-residency
• Vaccinations: Flu and COVID (required or exempted)
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency in Epic EMR and GE PACS; must complete order entry
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interpret plain films and CTs with a focus on emergency STAT cases
• Optionally read Ultrasound and MRI studies as preferred
• Maintain high productivity (50–90 studies daily) while ensuring diagnostic accuracy
• Participate in onsite team collaboration with 1–3 other radiologists
• Complete all order entries and documentation in Epic EMR
• Attend mandatory in-person orientation before assignment start
• Submit all hours via Vemsta digital timesheet system
