Diagnostic Technician - Truck and Trailer

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing both heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to completing repairs safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and air systems
• Diagnose and repair engine issues, including reading and interpreting engine codes and fault lights
• Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
• Accurately document work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck/trailer mechanic
• Ability to diagnose engine lights and fault codes using diagnostic tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is an asset but not required)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must provide own tools (or state if tools are provided)
