Dialysis Care Partner (NxStage Experienced Non-Medical)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Care Partners familiar with NxStage home dialysis equipment to serve as in-home caregivers, directly overseeing home dialysis treatments for patients across Greater Miami. While non-clinical, this role is hands-on and essential—ensuring treatments are delivered safely, comfortably, and in accordance with prescribed protocols. Care Partners support patients throughout each session, helping maintain consistency, comfort, and peace of mind in the home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient with preparation and setup for home dialysis (NxStage familiarity required)


• Offer companionship and overseeing the care during the home dialysis treatment (3-hour sessions)


• Document and escalate any irregularities to the family & clinical care team as directed


• Coordinate scheduling with family members or Dialyze staff when needed

 Required Qualifications

• Prior experience assisting patients with NxStage or equivalent home dialysis equipment


• Must be 18 years or older


• Valid Level 2 Background Check and Fingerprinting (Florida AHCA requirement)


• TB test (within 1 year)


• Able to lift 25 lbs and assist with mobility safely


• Reliable transportation to assigned patient homes


• Basic tech comfort (using Herewith app. communicating via app or SMS ect.)


• Fluent in English (Spanish or Haitian Creole a plus)
