Dialysis Technician

Schedule/Shift: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM | Approximately 30 hours per week

Cedar Park Med is hiring a Dialysis Technician!

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dialysis Technician to support patients receiving life-sustaining dialysis treatment. This is a per diem role with flexible scheduling. You will play a key role in patient care and treatment monitoring, working under the direction of nursing staff and nephrologists.

Position Overview:

As a Dialysis Technician, you will operate dialysis machines, monitor patient treatment plans, and provide support to ensure safe, high-quality care. You’ll assist with setup, maintenance, and disinfection of dialysis equipment and provide direct care to patients throughout their sessions.

Responsibilities:

  Prepare dialysis equipment and monitor treatment processes

  Assess patients’ vital signs and report changes to nursing staff

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure proper sterilization and functioning of dialysis machines

  
  


• 
  

  Document treatment information in patient records

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment

  
  


• 
  

  Respond promptly to machine alarms and patient concerns

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to ensure patient needs are met

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent

  
  


• 
  

  Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or equivalent certification required

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety practices

  
  


• 
  

  CPR certification preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Detail-oriented and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
