Die Cutter Assistant Pressman (B2) - 2nd shift (2pm-10pm Monday-Friday

Hourly base is $45,760 a year.

Overtime available.

SUMMARY
Assists Machine Operator to set die patterns according to specifications written on the factory ticket and the die chart. The Assistant Pressman is a progressive position and must also be able to assist in running the die cutters when needed. These duties will be assigned to this position after a required training program has been satisfied.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Basic maintenance will be performed by the person in this position.
2. Read and interpret Factory Ticket and read Die Chart for specific job instructions.
3. Have basic knowledge of Easy Press make-ready functions and assembly of stripping and blanker make-ready functions.
4. Must be able to fill in and run the die cutter when applicable.
5. Must be able to assist press Operators during make-ready procedures.
6. Have knowledge of the baling system/procedures involved with the baler.
7. Have the ability to pile stock and run the Aerator.
8. Basic forklift ability/certification.
9. Follow up and carry out instructions presented by Supervisor.
