Die Cutter MR Technician / Die Maker - 2nd Shift (B3)

Hourly base is $38,771.20 a year

1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


2. Read and interpret Factory Ticket and Die Chart for specific job instructions.


3. Locate appropriate tooling for job.


4. Set up draw sheet/die vinyl if applicable.


5. Must have the ability to set up and:


6. Assemble upper and lower blankers (universal style & BSI style)
   
   
   
   1. Assemble upper and lower strippers (universal style and strip clip pin‐less style)
   
   
   2. Assemble die and prepare Matrix, counter plate or make‐ ready board
   
   
   3. Operate easy press (applying Matrix, counter plates or make‐ready board) Trim matrix, counter plates, make‐ready board
   
   
   4. Bend metal grid materials for lower blanker tool
   
   
   5. Tig weld lower blanker tool
   
   
   
   


7. Check all tooling for proper position and security.


8. Communicate with the press operators on adjustments and repairs needed to be made on tooling.


9. Communicate with Supervisor regarding the schedule and materials needing to be ordered. 8. Disassemble if needed.


10. Return tooling to proper storage area.


11. Run or help run die equipment.
