Essential Functions:
Sets up and operates any punch press according to process instructions.
Inspects the first piece for conformance to blueprint and makes adjustments accordingly for part approval.
Documents all required production data.
Ensures all safety guarding is in place and properly working.
Maintains clean machines and work area.
Mechanical aptitude essential.

Must be able to set up progressive and compound dies and operate multiple presses at the same time. SPC and blueprint background required.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate as at least between two – 3+ recent years of experience working in a metal stamping/die setting environment. Trainees cannot be accepted or entertained.
Sets up and operates all power presses (compound and progressive) dies that trim, punch, shape, notch, draw or crimp metal. Performs first piece inspections before verification by an inspector. Presses include Bruderer, Ministers, Perkins, and V&Os. Press are between 10 -150 tons. They Also have a 150-ton automatic feed press
Hours of the position: day spot
The position is full time – 40 hours
6:00 am – 2:30 pm
