Mencer's Tree Service is hiring a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team! This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery and fleet vehicles. As a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain detailed service records and follow safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (technical training or certification preferred)
• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one preferred
