Monteith's Best-One currently has an opening for an experienced Commercial Diesel Mechanic.

Duties include:

· Repairs on dump trucks, semis, medium/heavy vehicles

· Diagnose and evaluate mechanical and handling issues and suggest proper repairs.

· Alignments (experience preferred but will train the right person)

· Performing routine check-ups and maintenance of vehicles.

· Check and change all oil and fluid levels.

· Provide recommendations to customers regarding their vehicle.

· Keep shop area neat and clean.

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

· Mechanical experience 

· OTR experience preferred but not required

· Must provide own tools. 

· Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers. 

· Must be a self-starter and be able to work without direct supervision. 

· Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history 

· Repetitive lifting, occasionally up to 90 pounds 

· High school GED preferred.
