Diesel Mechanic

Northwest Beef Express in Hermiston, OR is looking for an experienced diesel technician for our fast paced company fleet shop. NBX maintains a well-organized shop with well-maintained equipment and a positive work environment.

This is a full time, year round position, after a probationary period.

Requirements

 REQUIREMENTS:
*A valid driver's license and insurable

A minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic is required, plus you need to have your own tools.
Working knowledge of the following software systems:
• CAT
• ET Cummins Insite,
• Quick Serve
• Peterbilt software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to our truck and trailer fleet. Must be self-motivated, well organized, an excellent communicator, able to work well with others, and have a desire to succeed.
