Diesel Mechanic

As a crucial member of our service department, you will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement optimal repair solutions in a clean, safe, and state-of-the-art facility

• Perform maintenance and repair work with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership standards
  
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning
  
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates for necessary repairs
  
• Communicate diagnoses and repairs clearly to service advisors and customers, ensuring a smooth and informative process
  
• Stay current with rapidly evolving automotive technologies by participating in formal training sessions

Requirements

• GM Experience or experience with any domestic brands (Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Jeep, Cadillac, GMC, Lincoln, Ram, Buick)
  
• Hold a valid Florida driver’s license
  
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
  
• Minimum 5 years experience 
  
• Diesel experience
  
• GM certified a PLUS
