Senior Certified Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Mining Equipment

We're seeking experienced Certified Diesel Mechanics to join our dynamic mining operations team. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to maintain and repair sophisticated heavy mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance of our fleet. Essential Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, drills, and conveyors
• Perform preventive maintenance and fluid level checks on critical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and hydraulic systems
• Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostic testing
• Execute welding repairs on structural components
• Lead maintenance documentation and reporting procedures
• Train and mentor team members on maintenance best practices
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Diesel Engine Mechanic certification
• 5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience in mining or industrial settings
• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience with CAT SIS programming
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance software systems
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
