Job Description - Diesel Mechanic

Field Technician

Location: Alaska (preferably Juneau or Anchorage; candidates from the lower 48 states with airport access will be considered)

Compensation: $40–$50 per hour, in addition to accommodations and meals during travel

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Field Technician to become part of our team. You will be required to travel to various mining sites and remote areas throughout Alaska—including Kensington Mine, Green's Creek Mine, Manh Choh Mine, and Prudhoe Bay—to service and repair Sandvik Rock Drills and Mobile Crushing Equipment. This position necessitates the ability to work independently under challenging conditions that may include cold, wind, rain, and snow.

Key Responsibilities:

Â· Travel extensively to isolated locations in Alaska

Â· Conduct maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on Sandvik Rock Drills and Mobile Crushing Equipment

Â· Ensure optimal performance of equipment to reduce downtime

Â· Comply with safety regulations while operating in harsh environments

Qualifications:

Â· Demonstrated experience as a Field Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Â· Proficiency with Sandvik Rock Drills and Mobile Crushing Equipment

Â· Capability to work autonomously in remote and demanding conditions

Â· Readiness to travel frequently

Â· Preference for candidates based in Juneau or Anchorage, AK; those with convenient airport access in the lower 48 states will also be considered
