Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our fast-paced Fleet Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our commercial fleet to ensure maximum reliability and safety on the road—working in a comfortable, air-conditioned shop with standard weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance (PMs), fluid changes, brake inspections, and safety checks on fleet vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel equipment and heavy vehicles.
Conduct engine diagnostics, oil sample testing, and component replacements as needed.
Maintain clean, detailed service logs and work orders for all performed repairs.
Operate shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
Schedule & Work Environment
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends required).
Shop Environment: Work comfortably year-round in our climate-controlled / air-conditioned shop.
Qualifications & Skills
Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of diesel engine mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and general tool usage.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow diagnostic flowcharts.
Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in shop settings.
Driver’s License: Valid driver's license required (Commercial Driver’s License / CDL is a plus).
Preferred Experience
Experienced Applicants: 2+ years of hands-on experience performing diesel mechanics, fleet service maintenance, or heavy equipment repair.
Entry-Level Applicants: Successful completion of a diesel technology/vocational program OR equivalent hands-on experience in automotive/equipment repair with solid basic mechanical knowledge.
ASE Certifications (Diesel/Medium-Heavy Truck) or CDL Class A/B preferred, but not required.
