Job Description - Diesel Mechanic - May 2025

Responsibilities:   Repair/maintenance of diesel engines, transmissions, converters, differentials, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems for construction and mining equipment.

Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Diesel Mechanic Degree
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 3 years of work experience.  Work experience will be considered in lieu of a diesel mechanic degree
  • Computer skills relating to the use of diagnostic software are required
  • Must be proficient in the use of service and parts publications, schematics, and equipment electrical systems.

Starting pay for this position is $56.82/hour for a qualified diesel mechanic. 

Excellent Benefit Package including company paid premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance.  Company paid life insurance policy, vacation and sick leave.
