DHT is hiring Mid-Level and Skilled Diesel Technicians to join our maintenance team in Reese, Michigan.

We’re looking for technicians with hands-on experience working on Class 8 trucks and trailers. Whether you’re a developing technician ready to take the next step or an experienced diagnostic technician who can tackle complex repairs, we want to hear from you.

At DHT, good technicians do more than change parts. They troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and get equipment safely back on the road.

What You'll Do

As a Diesel Technician at DHT, you'll work on a diverse fleet of Class 8 trucks and trailers. Responsibilities may include:

• Diagnose and repair engine and drivetrain systems 
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems 
• Diagnose and repair air and brake systems 
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections 
• Perform truck and trailer repairs 
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and failures 
• Determine appropriate repairs based on inspection and diagnostic results 
• Perform road service and emergency repairs as needed 
• Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment 

What We're Looking For

We're hiring at both the mid-level and skilled technician level. Candidates should have:

• Hands-on diesel repair experience 
• Experience with Class 8 trucks and/or trailers 
• Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability appropriate to experience level 
• Ability to safely use shop tools and diagnostic equipment 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Dependable attendance and work habits 
• Ability to work independently within your skill level and as part of a team 
• Willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills
