Diesel Service Mechanic

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic in Hutchins, TX 75141 to join our team in a Temp-to-Hire role.

What You’ll Do

· Perform preventative maintenance and required services on fleet tractors and trailers in compliance with DOT 49 CFR 396

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems

· Conduct lot checks to verify equipment condition and identify out-of-service (OOS) items

· Safely operate Class 8 vehicles in yard conditions

· Move fleet equipment in and out of service facilities

· Operate shop tools and equipment including welders, torches, impact wrenches, band saws, scaffolding, ladders, and more

Schedule

· Monday – Friday

· 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Starting Hourly Pay:

· Starting at $25.00 per hour

· Biweekly pay

After successfully completing the required temporary hours, you will be eligible for excellent benefits offered directly by our client when converted to a permanent team member.

Requirements:

· Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.

· Previous diesel repair experience.

· Steel toe boots required for safety.

· Reliable transportation.

· Able to start working ASAP.

· Background check and drug screening required.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
