Job Title:  Diesel Mechanic (Medium Duty Truck)

Job Type: Full-time, Monday- Friday 

Salary: $25.00 to $45.00 /hour

Job Description 

Our diesel mechanics work in the comfort of an air-conditioned and heated shop on medium size trucks, F250, F350, F450. Diesel mechanics perform work specified on the respire order with efficiency, and in accordance with dealership standards. They are responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, breaks, and air conditioning. Technicians at Dorsch are provided with uniforms and laundry service.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Work medium size trucks (F250, F350, F450)

  
  


• 
  

  Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning

  
  


• 
  

  Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards

  
  


• 
  

  Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed of any additional service needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide an estimate of time needed for repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain Training Certificates

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  High School Diploma 

  
  


• 
  

  Must have at least 1-2 years of experience as an diesel technician

  
  


• 
  

  Must be knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

  
  


• 
  

  Must be a team player

  
  


• 
  

  Must have a valid and clean driver’s license

  Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening
